Taken whilst walking along the harbour front and heading towards the financial district, I wanted to make this dramatic to show off the skyline.

As I often do, I created a black and white version and then layered it to create my monochrome effect, then I took a coloured version and drew out the blue tones in the sky, building and reflections. The Clouds had been highlighted beautifully in the B&W version so when I merged the final two images they came out looking even more dramatic! The end product has a lot of texture to it but for me that adds to the effect. Taken with my Canon Powershot and edited with iPad/iPhone apps.
